Switching Workspaces

bluekona.ai uses a workspace selection to decide which account context is used in the authenticated app under /home.

Ways to switch

Workspace selection screen

1. Open /home/workspace-selection.
2. Click your Personal workspace tile or a Team workspace tile.

If you create a new team workspace from this screen (via Create Team), the app switches you to that new workspace after creation.

Workspace switcher (top bar)

1. Open the workspace dropdown in the top bar.
2. Select a workspace from the list.

What the app stores

When you switch to a team workspace, the app sets a workspace_account_id cookie to the selected workspace account ID.

When you switch to the personal workspace, the app clears the workspace_account_id cookie.

The app also sets a workspace_selected session cookie when you switch.

These cookies are used by the server to load the workspace context on subsequent requests.

When you may be switched back to personal

If the app detects an invalid workspace cookie (for example, the server context resolves to personal while a workspace cookie exists), the client triggers a switch to the personal workspace and reloads the page.
