Inviting members

Send an invitation, accept one, and manage who has access.

Team workspaces share access through invitations. Owners and admins can send them; members cannot.

Sending an invitation

  1. Open Members

Go to Settings → Members. This page only appears in team workspaces — if you do not see it, switch the workspace to a team in Settings → Workspace.

  2. Press Invite member

The dialog is titled Invite a team member.

  3. Enter their email and role

Type the Email address they should be invited at, then choose a role:

    • Member — can view and create content
    • Admin — can manage settings and members

The role defaults to member. What each one can do is set out in Roles and permissions.

  4. Send

BlueKona emails them an invitation link. The invitation appears in the Pending invites list until it is accepted.

Accepting an invitation

The invited person clicks the link in the email and lands on the acceptance page.

  • If they already have a BlueKona account, they sign in and are added immediately.
  • If they do not, they create one first, then join.

The invitation is tied to the email it was sent to.

Once accepted, the new workspace appears in their workspace switcher.

Managing members

The Members page lists everyone with access, their role and when they joined, plus any pending invitations.

Changing a role — owners and admins can change a member's role between member and admin.

Removing someone — removing a member revokes their access to the workspace immediately. Anything they created stays; it belongs to the workspace, not to them.

Problems
