A single-platform audit analyses one connected account on its own. It is the most detailed kind of audit, because it can look at individual posts rather than just channel totals.
Seven platforms can be audited individually: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn and TikTok.
What the workflow has in common
The process is identical for all seven: pick the platform, confirm, run, read the report. Every one covers the same 14-day window and obeys the same one-per-14-days limit. See Running an audit.
What differs is the data each platform makes available, which changes what the report can tell you.
What differs per platform
| Platform | Worth knowing |
|---|---|
| YouTube | The richest data. Views, watch time, subscriber change and per-video analytics. Numbers lag real time by up to 48 hours. |
| Reach and impressions only exist from when the account became Business or Creator. Stories expire out of the API after 24 hours. | |
| Page-level insights require a minimum audience size, so very small Pages return sparse data. | |
| Threads | Data only exists from when the API became available for your account. |
| X | Impressions are only exposed for recent posts; older ones may show engagement without impressions. |
| TikTok | Public videos posted by the connected account only — no drafts or private videos. No sidebar link; reach it via New Audit. |
| No analytics API. You enter page data manually before each run. No sidebar link. |
LinkedIn is the exception
Because LinkedIn grants no analytics access, its audit is driven by data you type in. The confirmation screen shows a LinkedIn page data form asking for your follower count and each recent post's date, type, likes, comments, shares and caption.
Press Save page data before Run Audit. Details in Connecting LinkedIn.
What you get
Beyond the shared report structure described in Reading your results, single-platform audits add:
- Channel performance — views, watch time, likes, comments, subscriber growth and average engagement, depending on what the platform exposes.
- Top performing content — your best posts, sortable by overall or recent performance.
- Recent media — every post in the window, filterable by format.
- Post metrics — your lowest-engagement posts, plus a Best times to post heatmap built from when your audience actually engaged.
- Performance charts — engagement over time, format comparison, and posting frequency by day.
Choosing what to audit
If you post to several platforms, audit each one separately when you want to fix that channel, and run a cross-platform audit when you want to decide where to spend your effort.
