Connections overview

How platform connections work, who can manage them, and what each one unlocks.

A connection links one external account to your workspace so BlueKona can read its analytics. Connections are managed per workspace, not per user — once connected, everyone in the workspace works from the same data.

How connecting works

Every connection uses the platform's own OAuth flow.

  1. Start from Connections

Open Settings → Connections and pick the platform you want to add.

  2. Approve access on the platform

You are sent to the platform's own sign-in page. Review the permissions and approve them.

  3. Choose the account to bind

Some platforms manage several accounts behind one login. Pick the one you want analysed.

Choosing an account

Some platforms expose more than one account behind a single login — a Facebook login may manage several Pages, a Google login several properties. For those, you pick which one to bind after approving access.

Who can manage connections

Only workspace owners and admins can connect or disconnect a platform. Members see the connected accounts but cannot change them.

Keeping connections healthy

Platform tokens expire. When one does, the affected audits stop running and the connection is flagged so you can reconnect it.
