Workspaces overview

What a workspace holds, and why everything in BlueKona belongs to one.

A workspace is the container for everything you do in BlueKona. Connections, audits, content and settings all belong to a workspace rather than to you personally.

What a workspace holds

  • Connected accounts — the platforms it pulls data from.
  • Audits — every report ever run, and their history.
  • Content — Studio posts, blog articles, video projects.
  • Settings — website configuration, AI context, and the module settings.
  • Members — who can see and change all of the above.

Why this matters

Because things belong to the workspace and not to you, two consequences follow:

Connections are shared. One person connects a YouTube channel and everyone in the workspace can audit it. Nobody else has to connect it again.

Switching workspaces changes everything on screen. The audits, content and connections you see are always those of the workspace you currently have active — not a merged view.

Personal and team

Workspaces come in two types — personal, for working alone, and team, for shared access with roles and invitations. See Personal vs team workspaces.

Having several

You can belong to any number of workspaces: your own personal one, plus any teams you have been invited to. Move between them with the switcher at the top of the sidebar — see Switching workspaces.

Common reasons to run more than one:

  • Separating clients — an agency giving each client its own workspace and its own members.
  • Separating brands — distinct connections and audits per brand.
  • Connecting a second account on one platform — each workspace binds one account per platform, so a second Facebook Page needs a second workspace.

Deleting one

A workspace owner can delete a workspace from Settings → Workspace, in the Danger Zone. You must type the workspace name exactly to enable the button.
