Engagement Rate
Also known as: ER
The share of your audience that interacts with a post — engagements divided by followers (or reach).
Engagement rate measures how actively your audience responds to your content. It is typically calculated as total engagements (likes, comments, shares, and saves) divided by followers, multiplied by 100. Because the percentage naturally falls as an account grows, a fair benchmark is tier-relative — comparing you to creators of a similar size.
