The width-to-height proportion of a video, like 9:16 vertical or 16:9 wide.

Aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between a video's width and height. Vertical 9:16 suits short-form feeds, while 16:9 is standard for long-form and desktop viewing, and using the wrong ratio wastes screen space or gets cropped.
